Vancouver Whitecaps midfielder John Thorrington says he hopes the club picks up his option for 2012. Thorrington, a 32-year-old native of South Africa, was limited to only 11 games this season because of leg injuries.
"There are some things we need to talk about, but I've been clear that I'd like to be here," he told The Province.
