Either Giovanni Ramirez has that kind of face that everyone thinks they recognize, or he?s been a very busy villain. Ramirez, the prime suspect in the brutal beating of a Giants fan at Dodger Stadium on opening day, is also a possible suspect in an attempted murder in Las Vegas, according to the Associated Press.
The official, who has close knowledge of the probe into the March 31 beating of Bryan Stow, told The Associated Press that Henderson police are looking at Giovanni Ramirez as a possible suspect in a January attempted murder outside Las Vegas. The official requested anonymity because the beating investigation is ongoing.
Henderson police spokesman Keith Paul said, however, there were no open warrants or charges filed against Ramirez in the city about 24 kilometres southeast of Las Vegas.
Fun items in Ramirez?s criminal past include an attempted robbery of an elderly woman in 1999, and conviction on possession of a firearm by a felon in 2005. He hasn?t been charged in the Stow case, but remains in custody for violating parole.
